US Stocks retreated in opening

The Nasdaq Composite Index declined by 15 points to 6,150, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined by 5 points to 21,336, and the S&P 500 Index dropped by 5 points to 2,427 points.
On the economic data front, New Housing Starts declined to 1.092M per month in May, Housing Starts Change shrank 5.5%, the lowest level in eight months, and little impact on investor sentiment.
Meanwhile, the markets remain worried about the possibility of a stricter Fed monetary policy stance, especially after Wednesday’s tightening decision. However, the ongoing weakness in technology stocks is creating weight over risky assets such as stock exchanges, along with ongoing risk appetite.
